VINTIQUE UPHOLSTERY – THE BRIEF
Vintique Upholstery owner Sharon O’Connor got in touch with me after being recommended via a mutual contact of her Graphic Designer. Sharon was experienced and had been running her business for some time but felt that it was time for her website and branding to better reflect her work and ethos and that Sharon is more than just an upholsterer.
“Upholsterers tend to work like a production line, alot do not work with the customer on selecting fabric. They are tradespeople who put the customer’s fabric and chairs together. I work more like an interior designer at the beginning stage and then re-upholster for the client.” – Sharon O’Connor
Sharon’s gorgeous new branding was created by the talented Claire of Claire Whyte Design on the theme of broken to beautiful and my part was to design and build the website to further reflect this.
