NORDIC WALKING WATFORD

I really love working with passionate business owners on their brand identities. So when Tracy approached me to work on a new identity for Nordic Walking Watford I was delighted, though in all honesty somewhat apprehensive with Nordic Walking Watford being part of NWUK with an established identity in place. I needn’t have worried as Tracy was a dream to work with throughout the collaborative process.

Out of the final concepts we felt that this was the strongest mark and would work well applied to all the various collateral (Caps, coats, poloshirts etc.).

The logo mark is a monogram formed of letters NWW, it also symbolises a Nordic fir tree/fir cone and the partial tread of a walking boot. The arrow shape signifies forward movement and the lightly curved edges of the icon and type provide a friendly tone which was important as Tracy wanted a personal connection and a sense of belonging.
